This is a one-person business by design.
Shop Web Works is led by Bruno Costa — a web designer and developer with a background in industrial maintenance and electrical systems. Not someone guessing what industrial companies need. Someone who's been on the floor.
From the factory floor to the front end.
Before working with design and development, I spent years inside the industrial sector.
I trained in industrial electrical maintenance through Brazil's leading vocational institution and worked hands-on — maintaining systems at Saint-Gobain, assembling large-scale induction furnace equipment, and operating in environments where unreliable work had immediate consequences.
That background shaped how I think. Clarity matters. Reliability matters. Anything poorly built becomes a liability.
I later transitioned into design, development, and UX — working in marketing agencies, leading multidisciplinary teams, and building digital products focused on real business outcomes. Nearly two decades in.
Most web designers approach industrial clients from the outside.
I don't. I understand the constraints, the communication style, and the decision-making process inside industrial companies — because I've worked in them.
That changes how I structure information, how I write for technical buyers, and how I build.
Direct control from start to finish.
I handle strategy, design, and development personally — to ensure consistency, accountability, and quality on every project.
For specialized needs like photography or technical content, I bring in trusted professionals. But the core of every project stays under my direct control. No layers. No handoffs. No surprises.
Not sure if your website is helping or hurting your business?
I can show you. No pressure. No commitment. Just a clear before-and-after.
